Weather data licence

The Weather and Snow forecast widgets get their data from Open-Meteo. Its free API is for non-commercial use only. If your club charges for anything (bookings, memberships, events), buy one of Open-Meteo’s paid plans and add its API key.

Either:

  • in the app, under Configure > Connections > Weather data (an admin only; the key is checked with Open-Meteo before it’s saved, and never shown again), or
  • for every club on a server, as OPEN_METEO_API_KEY in .env.

The Weather data tab shows which applies, or Non-commercial use only when neither does. Clubs on KALLH Cloud are covered by its licence.

Open-Meteo’s data is licensed CC BY 4.0, so both widgets credit it.
